Internet collections, available as ordinary files.
Attach a collection to your computer, browse it in your file manager, and keep the files you need. A 0.2.0 tester release is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux.
Add a collection once, then work with its contents as files. Interplanetary makes a collection part of the computer's file environment instead of asking every application to learn a new library format. You can browse without keeping a full local copy and keep individual files when you need them.
The image is a development capture from the Mac app: an imported collection and its files, including the state of individual local copies. It is not a claim that every public collection is instantly available or that every existing application has been tested.
From source to file
The 0.2.0 tester release accepts an IPFS collection link, an Internet Archive item, or an HTTP JSON manifest. The collection appears through Finder on Mac, Cloud Files on Windows, or FUSE on Linux. The project has verified native reads on each platform with test content; cold Internet reads still depend on available peers and the connection.
Keeping a file locally is an explicit choice. The engine tracks what is present, what needs retrieval, and what changed at the source. The product also experiments with an agent that turns a request into an inspectable selection before the user approves the acquisition.
Interplanetary contains no games or BIOS files. People bring collections they are authorized to access. The public release is for testers and carries platform-specific setup instructions and limits.
